The emotional wellness clinic was founded by Dr Balu in response to a dramatic increase in the number of enquiries he received from people who are getting discharged from the traditional mental health services and psychiatric hospitals. Dr Balu regularly came across people who were discharged because they were symptomatically better. He quickly found that being symptomatically better doesn't always translate to readiness to face the real world challenges which often involed their families, work and dreams. Often the insight of being well, reminded people of the time they lost when they were unwell.
He also found that most people wanted to minimise the impact of common emotions and learn skills to manage their anxiety, anger in a better way, inorder to lead a happy, peaceful life. The journey to finding answers to some of the complex life problems often begins with a simple conversation.
We believe that everyone can be taught to thrive and not just survive. People can learn techniques to fully realise their dreams and start living a fulfilled life.
We adopt a holistic approach including comprehensive medicine management, holistic nutritional advice and well established psychological methods tailored to the individual. Our clients find our sensitive, structured, non-judgemental approach very refreshing, liberating and empowering.

Dr Balu also found that people are stressed about many things in life. It is shocking that the earliest age to get stressed could be as young as three years of age.
Most people’s response to stress is to stop doing the thing that causes it, or in other words avoid the stressor. Avoidance does help sometimes. But most high performers feel that they can’t afford to avoid the things that cause stress. The very things that make them successful make them miserable. Some take a break only to return to the stressful scenario and it feels as if they have never been away.
